Good Cop Bad Cop

During our class we discussed the Reid Technique and how it is used thoroughly in law enforcement. I believed that this was an over exaggeration that was portrayed by the media, until the day that it happened to me. I want to make things clear that I was in the absolute wrong in this situation but it all started one day when I was driving to class. I was slowing down on a red light and decided to pull up my phone, as I was stopping a police car made a turn and we made eye contact. I knew then I was in trouble. Took no time to pull me over, I also didn't have my seat-belt on so I got grilled on that too, the two cops were very distinct one was a very grizzly veteran and the other was a young fresh face. The veteran did all the talking and he was grilling me HARD he asked for my insurance and I couldn't find it, he asked why I wasn't wearing a seat-belt, he asked why I was on my phone. I didnt even try to argue I knew I was in the wrong, then the cop left and only the fresh face remained he was very cool and talked to me telling me that I cant be doing this type of stuff I'm too young to suffer an accident. I apologize because he was right, then the veteran comes back and tells me "We have more dangerous people to try and catch so stay out of trouble or we'll come and get you". And these guys completely let me go to class without a ticket keep in mind I had 3 infractions. This was the luckiest day I ever had.
