Fortnite Craze

Well I did mention that this was also a games blog. Let's talk about the biggest game of the entire school semester and even fall semester 2017. It's called Fortnite and it is pure addiction and euphoria. The premise is very simple it is a battle royale comprised of you and 99 other online players. You land anywhere on the map and collect loot (weapons) all while being pushed towards the center by a giant storm that does damage. Eventually there can only be one winner. What makes this game great is a combination of the desire to be number one, it comes from a primitive mindset where you want to be the alpha of the entire group. Asserting your dominance over 99 other people is great, but the game also feels fresh because the developers listen to their audience and make constant updates to the game. I'm glad to be a part of this game as it brings back days of my youth where I could play the game for hours and have fun every second of it.
